would work for the bodice assembly? (of course, I would'nt stitch the bottom of the bodice .The part of the shoulders scares me a bit.

Hi Lindsay,
ReplyDeleteI found this tutorial link at All Free Sewing and am glad I did! I made this dress and added my own touches to it..vintage voile, tulle, satin and a vintage embroidered child's collar were the materials I used. Look for me at facebook for this dress and others I've made...just look for DibbleDabble1Dolls
Hi Lindsay,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say I made this dress for my 2 yr old for Christmas and I got lots of compliments on it and disbelief that I made it myself! I am NOT a good sewer, I can't follow a pattern but I sure was able to follow step by step directions with pictures. I actually did make a mistake or two but it is a very forgiving pattern so it turned out nice enough to wear to church and only I knew what I goofed up on. Thanks for the great tute!
I'm starting this project today and hoping to have a beautiful Easter dress for my two year old. I am a new seamstress, and am a little worried I'm biting off more than I can chew, but here's hoping! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful pattern with us!
ReplyDeleteHi Lindsay..I just want to say I love this very much. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering if this dress could be made for older girls and maybe women. I love this dress. I'm also a beginner at sewing. Thanks and any help would be great.
ReplyDeletecould someone tell me which number is the length of the skirt and which is the width?
