ReplyDeletewhat a great giveaway. I've wanted to make a shopping bag from oilcloth for ages, but I was a bit nervous about sewing with it. I went to John Lewis and lusted over some Cath Kidstone oilcloth, they said they'd send me a sample so I could try sewing it. When the sample came, it was the same pattern but in cotton! So I never bought any. :0(
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a follower!

Oilcloth - I've never used it before but after reading the website's info I'm game to try it!
ReplyDeleteI would make a tote for my grandmother's rollator/walker - she has some hardware store tool belts on it now and really needs something sturdy, personalized, and PRETTY on it instead. I'm sure she would LOVE for me to make her more than one since it may become a second purse to her with her recent knee surgery.
Or I'd make a market tote for my fruits and veggies. How cool would that be, to have a special, durable, water resistant bag to carry to the farmer's market and back home!
