Whoopdwhoop - A Currency Free Creative Marketplace

Susie Earrings in black by DIY Kinda Girl

I wanted to take a moment to share a new website with you all that I thought you might be interested in checking out.  It's called Whoopdwhoop and it is a unique, currency-free creative marketplace used to swap one creative good for another.  So, what currency free mean?  It means that there is no money that changes hands on the site.

Basically you come up with a value for your product and you sell your product for a certain amount of points or "whoops".  Once you have earned some "whoops", you can use those "whoops" to purchase other creative goods from the site.  You can trade photography, sewn, crocheted, or quilted goods, paper crafts, jewelry or basically anything that has been handmade.

I don't know about you, but I have done some trades with other etsy artists and it is usually a win-win situation for everyone.  Sometimes we don't always have the cash to buy something, but we have a skill or trade that we can use to barter for something else.  Especially in this tough economy, it's really great to have a site where artisans can swap their creative goods.

Whoopdwhoop is currently open to U.S. and Canada residents only.  If you are a creative individual that has a product to swap with other creative individuals, I highly recommend you check out this new, cutting edge, creative site.

Here are few of the great products that can be found on Whoopdwhoop:

Bella Tote by Kim

Diesel Horse Bridge by Vance Harris

Crochet Owl Hat by Lindsay

So head on over and check out Whoopdwhoop and see what kind of creative goods you can start swapping with other great artists!
