Ellie Inspired Pattern Giveaway

I've got a great giveaway for you guys today from a fabulous new blog sponsor -

Ellie Inspired Sewing Patterns

I was thrilled when Laura, owner and designer, contacted me because I think she and I have very similar style and I adore her patterns.  I think many of you will really like them too.  Her patterns are classic with a contemporary flare - right up my alley!

Here are a few of my favorites:

The "Dancer" skirt pattern is really fun for little girls.  It's whimsical and perfect for twirling.  I think there are so many ways to get creative with this look.

And how about this "Nanny Etticoat" pattern?  There are so many different variations in this pattern and if you want to go ultra-girly, then go for the full petticoat.  What little lady wouldn't feel special in this look?

I'm going to have to say that the "Sugar Horses" pattern is my favorite.  Classic yet updated for today's modern little girl.  I'm loving the ric-rac trim and the ruffles around the neck-line.  I see this dress in the future for Savannah and Matilda.

And last, but not least, the "Ayano" pattern is the newest addition to Ellie Inspired.  Laura has been very generous in donating much of the proceeds from this pattern to the relief effort in Japan.  I think this would make the perfect "Fancy Nancy" dress for the fancy little girl in your life.

So, I've shown you my favorites and now it's your turn to tell me yours.

Laura is giving away a pattern of your choice to THREE lucky winners!  She is also offering a 15% off exclusive discount to The Cottage Home blog readers on all patterns - just tell her The Cottage Mama sent you.

Here's how to enter the giveaway (2 entries per person):

1) Go over to Ellie Inspired and tell us what would be your pattern of choice.
2) Become a fan of Ellie Inspired on Facebook.

Giveaway is open until Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at midnight (CST).

In the next several months we will be doing a "sew along" with one of Laura's wonderful sewing patterns.  So stay tuned for that fun event here on The Cottage Home!

  81. Oh my gosh! How to pick just one!? I have loved her design style since first seeing her Sweet Apple Frock pattern. I still think that is an adorable dress. I hadn't checked her site in a long time though and WOW! has she been very busy creating even more adorable patterns.

I love the way Sugar Horses can be created in so many ways and each one is just super cute. That's got to be my number one choice. Given the other responses above mine, that must be a VERY popular seller.

Then Daisy Bell is another adorable pattern. I love Dancer as well because it has the coverage underneath the darling skirt so a little girl can twirl and tumble all she wants and not give any sneak peeks under the skirt. ;) And then too, speaking of twirling - Twirl Girl is another awesome pattern. Oh man! I REALLY need to win the lottery. She and I both would be thrilled. LOL

thank you for the great giveaway
