New Sponsor Giveaway: Quilt in a Day with Eleanor Burns

I'm very excited to introduce another new sponsor here on The Cottage Home blog ~

Quilt in a Day with Eleanor Burns

I was thrilled to be contacted by the folks behind Quilt in a Day and extremely flattered to have them sign on as a sponsor.  Here is a little more information from Quilt in a Day:

"Quit in a Day has everything you need to make a quilt - books, patterns, free block patterns, notions, fabrics, rulers and videos! Quilt in a Day was founded in 1975 by "Hall of Fame" quilter, Eleanor Burns. Through out her career, Eleanor has published over 100 'How-to' quilt books, developed an Eleanor Burns Signature Pattern Collection and designed a variety of specialty rules all produced to aid the quilter in successfully and easily completing their quilt. Her Quilt in a Day TV series began airing on PBS and is still broadcasting nationwide and abroad, even teaching in Japan."

Guess what?  Quilt in a Day is giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to one lucky The Cottage Home blog reader to use on their website!

Quilt in a Day has loads of quilting fabric.  Did you see that up there?  Yep, some for only $3.00 - $4.00 per yard!  Plus lots of kits, precuts and more!  Click HERE to check out their fabrics.

  10. One of my favorite things about their store is that I can add things easily to a wishlist and save it on their site. I love being able to create a list of things I want to buy from a site that way. It sure makes it easy to remember what you wanted to buy from there when you have extra money to spend.

  31. How do I like thee, let me count the ways: There are the free patterns, recipes, biography. Then there are videos, and finally the shop. Oh, the shop!!! How I would love to have the money to spend more time in the shop. I stopped after I realised that I couldn't afford even half of what I was adding to my mental wishlist.
    Thanks for hosting the giveaway.

  37. I can't believe the fabric selection and prices!!!! Thanks for giving me another great source!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Their prices look very reasonable and I like that the website is easy to find things.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nifty. I like their red and green fat quarter pack.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I love so many things at Quilt in a Day but I fell instantly in love with the little red iron by Kandi. How cute is that?

    ReplyDelete
  41. My first quilt was Card Trick from Quilt in a Day. I own several of her books as well. I really like that the books are so clear and easy to read and follow. I like that her site is so easy to navigate whether you are shopping for free patterns, books, or fabric.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I love the videos and patterns! What a great collection!

    ReplyDelete
  43. My fave thing about their website is when I'm viewing several fabrics on a page, I can hover over a fabric and see it enlarged and, from that same page, can also choose to view the entire line.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love the video and great price fabrics :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. I like: fabric frenzy, lots of notions to support E's techniques, and the books. IF I had other than dial-up, would be watching videos right now. I already receive the QID newsletters and regularly check out E's FB page too. We lost our RFD channel on satellite so no longer see Eleanor on Thursdays, and we miss it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. My favorite thing is that they have a lot of "How to" information! I'm just starting my first EVER quilt, and doing it via quilt block kits from Joanns, so I'm teaching myself. So far, the piecing is going well, but when I get further along I'm going to need some How-To info. I like that you can get that and the fabric in one place! Good luck all!

    ReplyDelete
  47. It is hard to pick just one thing, I love going through the notions section. I am addicted to rulers!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Noticed the Paducah banner on the bottom of the page and had to click on that and do some research. Loving that their newest location is close to my hometown. :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. I am loving all the yummy layer cakes and jelly rolls - I can see so many quilts here!

    ReplyDelete
  50. i love their fabric and their classes

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'd never been on this site and I will love the videos. Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I often visit the Quilt in a Day website. The thing I enjoy most is how user friendly it is. You can easily locate whatever you are looking for whether it is a specific pattern/video, fabric, free quilt block patterns, or notions. It's no surprise that Eleanor was installed into the Quilter's Hall of Frame this year. She has lead the way for thousands of quilters to find easier methods to achieve excellent results.

  53. The fabric selection is the best thing about the place!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I think my favorite thing is the large selection in the shop and the prices are pretty reasonable!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Love Eleanor! Their site is really easy to use. Love there are teaching videos and fabric! There is also a "community" that you can chat with others about different sewing topics. There's also free patterns.

Thank you and Quilt in a Day for a great giveaway and a chance to win. Congratulations on your new sponsor!

I love getting a collection in the color ways that I want. Her patterns are good to; easy to make but look more complicated and pretty.
